At Sawdust & Splinters, every custom furniture piece is built to last. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our work with a lifetime structural warranty for the original purchaser under normal residential use.
This warranty covers the structural integrity of your furniture, meaning it should remain safe, stable, and functional for its intended purpose.
What’s Covered
Our lifetime structural warranty covers:
- Structural or joint failure under normal residential use
- Defects in craftsmanship or construction that affect strength, stability, or function
- Repair or replacement of affected components, at our discretion
What’s Not Covered
Because our furniture is built from real wood and finished by hand, this warranty does not cover:
- Normal wood movement, small checks, grain variation, color variation, or natural aging
- Cosmetic wear, dents, scratches, stains, fading, or finish wear
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications
- Damage caused by excessive moisture, extreme dryness, improper care, or harsh cleaning products
- Exposure to outdoor conditions or non-residential/commercial environments unless specifically approved
- Transportation, delivery, or refinishing costs
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your piece has a qualifying structural issue, please contact us with photos and a description of the concern.
We will review the issue and determine whether it qualifies under the warranty. If approved, Sawdust & Splinters will work with you to repair the issue, replace the affected component, or provide another fair solution at our discretion.
Our goal is simple: build furniture that lasts, and take care of our customers if something truly goes wrong.
